Dear Delta Community Partners,
We are writing to request your support for the Delta Youth Football Program. Our program is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable football experience for children in the Delta community. Our mission is to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and character development through the sport of football, as discussed below.
INTRODUCTION TO NEW DELTA YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM
The Delta Youth Football Program is making some exciting changes. This fall, the Delta Youth Football Program will join the Central Utah Football League. We will have three teams from our community that will participate- a team from the 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade. The costs per player to join the league is $115.00.
In addition to creating the new teams and joining the Central Utah Football League, we are proud to announce that we have recently purchased brand new helmets, shoulder pads, knee pads, and uniforms for the children in our program. These new safety measures will help to ensure that our players are protected while they learn and grow through the game of football. However, these purchases have put a significant strain on our budget, and we are now in need of additional support to offset these costs. The cost to purchase the new helmets and shoulder pads, uniforms, and knee pads was approximately $23,600.00. Here’s a look at the new uniforms we have ordered for the Youth Football Program:
REQUEST FOR DONATIONS
We are requesting donations from the chamber and members of the chamber. Your donation will go towards covering the cost of our recent equipment purchases and provide scholarships for children who cannot afford to participate in the program.
